“ Great experience at Alma Llanera, the tequenos with the sauce was very good, same for the arepitas con queso, the sancocho mixto is totally grandma approved !!! The cachapa with smoked brisket and the patacon with shredded beef are completely legit. Everything we tried was authentic, great flavors and good portions. Highly recommended ”
“ This is a Venezuelan restaurant so be prepared for a lot of meat, particularly beef! It’s different than what you think it’s going to be but it’s very tasty! We ordered a number of things we cannot pronounce, but the flavors are very good! It’s very clean and it has a very nice atmosphere, very well decorated and they’re working on getting an English speaking individual but if you have a translator on your phone you’ll get by fine! As I mentioned, it is Venezuelan and there’s a lot of beef and it is very tender, I’m not particularly a beef person unless it’s a filet mignon, but I can tell you that they’ve made their beef so tender even when it gets cold it’s very tasty! If you get the vegetable soup, it’s very good and comes in such a way that you’re really enjoy it! The wheel of cheese is cow milk cheese Called Leche vaca queso! The ceviche mixed is shrimp and fish in a milk and lime sauce with cilantro, red onions, green onions, and surrounded with plain, fried plantain, and it’s good plus, there is a half of an avocado stuffed with a shrimp onion, and some fish ceviche! Although the beef is called barbecue, it has kind of a chimichurri sauce for it and everything is light except they’re very hot, hot sauce, and let me tell you, I am an expert on hot sauce and this is hot and it’s tasty! It is really enjoyable and what a different experience since we don’t speak Spanish and yet they’re trying to accommodate us for what we do know and it’s all good! If I could spell it, I would but it’s at the top of the list and it’s kind of a Maso with sugar on it done with water and I’ll have a cream sauce that comes with it that is a very cream de vaca, light, but tasty! And I do love plantains, fried plantains, and they’re done just right! ”
“ Eating “in Venezuela” is coming to Alma Llanera Gastronomy. Food with a typical flavor prepared with a high gastronomic level!!! The personalized attention of its owners and all its team make Alma Llanera the true reference of Venezuelan food in Dallas. ”
“ I've lived in the area for months and I'm only now getting a chance to try this place. This place feels very homely and the music choice is awesome. I love that the music isn't too loud and this make the space more enjoyable. The food tasted amazing and our server Genesis was very attentive and provided amazing service. I definitely recommend trying this place if you are in the Addison area and in the mood for some great Venezuelan food! ”
“ What a pleasant surprise! We came from so far away and we wanted to eat something delicious to remember our beautiful land and we looked in the GPS and it was the first restaurant with more stars, it was our first experience here and we were impressed. The menu offers an excellent variety of options, and each dish we tried was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was fast and friendly from the waiter JOSE MEDINA, SINDY AND JESUS BRICENO and the atmosphere was very welcoming. It has definitely become one of our favorite places for dinner and the cow show is the most enlightening and brilliant it was something of another level they can celebrate their birthdays or any kind of celebrations ”
“ The food is the best. The best food for me was the triple criollo and the familiar alma llanera. The atmosphere was great. The birthday was the best. The waiter Jose Medina was wonderful. Excellent service. The best restaurant in Dallas, TX. Never in my life had I visited a place like this. Now Venezuelan food is my specialty and the morzilla is the best. ”
“ The entire experience was AMAZING!!! Just moved to Addison and was looking for a place to retreat during the “winter storm”. Alma Llanera was one of the few restaurants open so we stumbled in. The customer service, food, and drinks were top notch. Our first time indulging in Venezuela cuisine Valarie suggested the passion fruit margarita and stuffed plantains... whew chef’s kiss!!! Valerie checked in with us regularly, keep the drinks nice and strong and even recommend other foods. We have found a new spot to have good food and a great time! ”
“ This place food and service is top-notch. We had the Grilled Chicken, Tostones and Churros and it was great I couldn't get enough. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Latin Food. ”
